#Simmba roars on Day 2... While Mumbai circuit is exceptional, the other circuits that were slightly low on Day 1 have also picked up... Growth on Day 2 [vis--vis Day 1]: 12.60%... Expected to score big numbers today... Fri 20.72 cr, Sat 23.33 cr. Total: 44.05 cr. India biz.

Simba (Simmba) occupancy report

day 3: Ranveer Singh's film turns into audience magnet

Going by the overall 65 per cent occupancy of Simba, the Rohit Shetty directorial starring Ranveer Singh is expected to earn around Rs 26 crore on Sunday (day 3).

Ranveer Singh's Simba (Simmba) is currently roaring in theatres across the country and moviegoers are flocking like birds to the cinema halls. The movie has earned Rs 44.05 crore in just two days of its release and has turned out to be the highest opener for Ranveer Singh till date. On day 3, the morning shows of Simba witnessed similar occupancy as that of day 1. However, the strong of word escalated the afternoon shows occupancy to 65-70 per cent and is expected to remain the same in the evening and night shows. Going by the overall 65 per cent occupancy of Simba, the Rohit Shetty directorial is expected to earn around Rs 26 crore on Sunday (day 3). Audience have been absolutely in love with Simba and have been gushing about it on social media platforms. The film's lead actors Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan and director Rohit Shetty have been visiting cinema halls to get first hand experience of watching audience reaction while watching Simba.

Simmba Scores Over Zero In US / Canada

Simmba is scored huge numbers in Overseas with the US / Canada numbers being a shocker as these sort of mass films dont have a strong market in US / Canada. The film has crossed the three day figures of Zero in two days in US / Canada. The first two day figures in US / Canada area as follows.

Friday - $512,873

Saturday - $598,601

TOTAL - $1,111,473

Zero had collected $1,036,126 over its first weekend and Simmba is heading for $1.6 million. The film is generally doing very well in Overseas with strong numbers in Gulf also which collected a little under $1 million on Thursday and Friday so is set for a huge weekend total

Finally going to watch Simmba tonight. Yay!!

Also booked tickets to watch Simmba again on Wednesday with my three friends who are not Ranveer fans. Positive wom gotten them curious enough to watch a masala movie starring Ranveer. 😊

Saw simmba second time yesterday with dad!

Enjoyed again and he loved it!

He has became a fan of Ranveer since Bajirao.

Now in dad's favourite genre, cop drama.

And also dad was so excited seeing Singham on screen with simmba!

#Simmba springs a BIG SURPRISE Overseas... Masala films, generally, have limitations in international markets, but #Simmba is scoring everywhere... Day 1: $ 1.884 mn Day 2: $ 1.590 mn 2-day total: $ 3.474 mn [ 24.22 cr].
