I have never been able to sit through any of her movies but I have always appreciated her dancing. Her items songs have atrocious lyrics but she has always retained a certain innocence and charm that I have found them on the better side. And I have liked her off screen persona even more, many call her diplomatic but I like her dignity being silent.
I feel sad about both Ranbir and Kat. I found Ranbir most likable in his Kat phase. He seemed happier and sorted, she used to seem happy too. It is very easy to go on about mud-slinging now, but from Ranbir's KWK interview, I felt he wanted to genuinely and happily settle with Kat. They both did invest a lot of time in their relationship but sadly things got in way - his family, his not that great career, her so called shady past. I think it is Murphy's Law, when things go wrong, everything starts working against. I saw it happen with Virat and Anushka but while they braced it, Ranbir-Kat decided to part ways. Everyone moves on, that's life but if people talk about the one you get stuck on, I think it would be Kat for Ranbir.

I love hearing her talk. She's so unabashedly open about her insecurities & fears. I remember a radio IV of hers during BBD ig could be JJ...where she said her biggest fear was to die alone. That made me so sad.

You make sense ... RK was tolerable off-screen while with Kat .. now with Alia he looks misplaced! ... There was sync in their energy which is lacking with Alia ... Families are such huge influence .. it's hard to have a "happy ending" against them .. which made everything tumble down!

Loved her both IVs ... I love watching her .. her thoughts and opinions are well-place and very well articulated ... she doesn't say things for the sake of it .. there's always a deep though process for every answer of hers ... she's on the line of SRK when it comes to IVs! ... you don't get tired of hearing them speak!

As much as I like Kat, I can't bear to hear her for so long.

I'm not as big a fan of her as you, but I ended up watching the entire 2 interviews in full without fast forwarding even once. It was very well articulated and interesting. Just give it a try and see, for me it was a lovely watch..

Happy for her. She comes across as really thoughtful and measured, which I appreciate. Hope this is a turning point for her.

Agree. After watching a handful of Katrina's interviews, I feel that she is undoubtedly the one actress who speaks so well. So articulated, spontaneous, and eloquent. She does not go "Umm... Umm..." after every other word trying to come up with an answer. And that calm demeanor without maligning anyone is just commendable.

To me she has always been typecasted and not allowed to express herself truely. People always made fun of how dumb she was in IVs, but watch those when she does the interviews with her male costars... Most don't have the patience to let her finish or joke that she long winded.

Relationships are hard, people change over time. There's also her truth, his truth and the real story. We can only speculate what happened between Katrina and Ranbir, so no blame on either. I wish them both well but seriously Ranbir, please grow up.

I haven't seen Zero, but i did feel in the trailers she stood out... the actress, drunk and wild and angsty.. i think Katrina suits these kind of roles.

Hearing her speak, i am only half way through her interview Rajeev, and i feel like where has this Katrina been, i mean where has these sort of interview been for Katrina, as in asking more about her and her work... not just the usual questions, and here is someone you can have a conversation with and she will eventually open her heart and talk... i feel their is so much there...

As for Ranbir, since people are commenting,. I still dont get what women see in him... esp hearing how he is and so on

Such lovely, honest and well articulated interviews..I always found her endearing. She has a very calm demeanour unlike most actresses who are OTT/fake. Haven't watched Zero but she seemed impressive in the trailer. Infact Katrina can perform under good direction. I liked her in ZNMD, New York, Jagga Jasoos and few other films. Also, the best Dancer who even makes item songs watchable. Hope she finds the perfect life partner soon.
