It's smart how they, whether it's Alia or Janhvi now, do a patriotic movie to win over the public. It's like they know that even if their acting is decent and nothing to rave about people won't call them out explicitly or drag them. Because people get so caught up in the patriotism that they see things through rose tinted glasses and feel the movie was good and the acting was great.

A recent example of that is Raazi. The film wasn't ground breaking or extraordinary and Alia's acting in it was not even that great. She acted better in her other movies, hell she was better in Badri Ki Dulhania lol. Yet the way people talk about that movie and her performance you'd think it deserves 5 Oscars.

Janhvi seems to have caught on. She's smart or rather KJo or whoever is advising her. 😆 😆

KJo doesn't seem to be as fond of Sara on a personal level like with Ananya or Janhvi but he wouldn't be a snob towards her and , considering how Bebo has been a constant bff in his life, might even bail her out in future if her career is on the rocks.

Sara is as real or fake as Janhvi. But she has the gift of the gab in interviews unlike Janhvi who really struggles to give free-flowing, non-generic answers sometimes.

Regarding sympathy, well, even a few months ago, I think quite a few of us didn't think the sympathy wave would last too long. Personally, I didn't expect it to last through 2018.

Karan has seen what worked with alia and is doing the same with janhvi - that much is clear.

But Alia got a raazi after many films. I wonder if it is too soon for janhvi? Though, I feel Janhvi might suit this quiet, intense role a lot more than extroverted, "bubbly" ones where she does struggle to bring out the required energy sometimes.

Subhash Jha recently wrote about how Karan uses his power and position to take the freedom in asking people's sex lives on the show to make them uncomfortable and how guests like Diljit, Vicky etc are reluctant to answer them. So she pretty much made it clear in the beginning that she won't entertain such questions.

It would be dumb for any millennial to actually not know what dating is. And she is anything but dumb. Also has some dry humour that always misses the target of being funny.😆I mean she herself is speaking about dating boys in the famously filmfare promo so where is the pretense?
