Ayushman does exactly one character though, always. The films are good, doesn't mean he is playing particularly difficult roles or acting well

Ayushmann found Hichki and was offered the film. When he took it to Aditya Chopra to see if they would produce it, Chopra said the film would work better with a female instead and gave it to his Wife.

Has no screen presence, doesnt look like a lead role, excels in one type of role.

The guy can Act and he can Sing, only actor from current lot who can do both!!! He reminds me of Kishore Kumar of yesteryears- I know it's a unfair comparison But just a thought And yes he is grossly underrated But which rank outsider isn't? Can't believe Ayushmann, Rajkummar and Sushant have less hype and opportunities than that of someone like Arjun Kapoor.

on the contrary, i see a lot of new write ups about him now. even his brother has reaped the benefits, heis hosting a tv showand everyone says he is ayushmans brother.

I watched Andhadhun and Badhai Ho back to back.

If this guy doesn't win a best actor award for Andhadhun I don't think anyone else will! He was amazing!!
Even in Badhaj Ho which had great performances from Gajraj Rao, Nina Gupta and Surekha Sikri, he added his own grace to the movie! Just awesome.

But unfortunately, he might end up with some critics award and the actual best actor will go to some "star.

As if the normal audience can't fathom the complexity in acting like the critics can 😆
