Can't say he didn't tried. He tried to recreate DDLJ by doing movies like Dilwale and it didn't work. Tried unconventional movies like Fan and Zero and didn't work either. Tried the action genre and Raees too flopped. He even tried the romcom cheesy movies like JHMS that too tanked.

People who keep saying he should pick some good scripts are just grasping at straws now.

He's done and dusted!

JHMS and Zero is same. Being a dwarf and then having the whole script on same old love story doesnt amount to different kind of story. It's love story again.

Raees was too much similar to OUATIM which is why didn't create the buzz it needed.

Dilwale was a piece of shit and so was the second half of Fan. Honestly I have no idea why even CE worked, may be only due to Minamma because SRK was same as halwali ka pota, his usual hamming self.

Only Dear Zindagi is a standout choice that he made in last few years. Loved it and loved SRK there. Hope he chooses more scripts like that.

I've been waiting for him to do a decent movie with a good story for the longest time. He shouldn't take the audience for granted and start making better movies. It's really tough being his fan

I think with Rakesh Sharma Biopic and rumoured Hindi Medium he will defo bounce back. He just have to strike a chord with the sentiments of the audiences like he did with Chak de. And these two movies will do that. I hope so.

For me he is the better actor out of the 3 Khans.

He is not done & dusted. All these movies were similar...same old srk with arms wide open romances. He is 50+. His romance needs to mature...his fans aren't teenagers anymore. Dear Zindagi is the kind of film he needs to do. I think both Hindi Medium & Rakesh Sharma biopic are great choices.

Hindi Medium's script might tank whenever a small budget movie gets hit, they rope in superstar to ride on franchise success.
Something might be wrong with Rakesh Sharma biopic too or else Amir wouldn't give up so easily.

Don't think the Khans can be totally done and dusted..SRK needs to reinvent himself..like AB Sr.

Aamir did it long back and he is the one who will sustain the longest. Thugs..he himself said it was a different choice that he made just coz of the role..and he said he was scared the most for this film. It may or may not work. So Aamir kind of knows the pulse of the audience and will go back to that.

SRK has to do roles that need intense emotions..Chak de, Don, Swades were his best acts IMO..even in DDLJ the standout scene was that ''babuji kehte hai".

He will do well in suspense n thriller genres too
