I remember DilSe...and now it's labled one of ShahRukh's best...

I remember Swades...and now people take it as an example for praiseworthy Indian Cinema...

I remember Paheli...and it was chosen as entry for the Oscars...

I remember MyNameIsKhan...it was boycotted in India and made a considerable impact overseas...

I remember Ra.One which was trashed and bashed in India and applauded overseas for the VFX-work...

Curious what will HindiCinema critics write in some years about Zero...

I don't think afiya's disability is the reason for the movie not being liked by the regular audiences, because first half waw unanimously liked. it is more to do with the outlandish space melodrama, personally it didn't bother me but it didn't go well with many people

The fact that people went to watch the film on the first day with the kind of opening shows that people didn't mind seeing the love story between a vertically challenged person and someone with cerebral palsy. It is the very same love story that you're speaking about that failed. Why would anyone go in to watch a film expecting a love story but in return get a horrible film with the lead actor acting like a chichora, an inconsistent and lazy lead actress and Bauaa going to Mars? It is the absolutely rubbish khichdi that the masses refused, not the characters. I'm pretty sure there are much more believable ways to culminate Bauaa and Aafiya's love story than the crapfest they showed in the second half.

Zero Early Estimate For Christmas Day

Tuesday 25 December 2018 23.30 IST

Box Office India Trade Network

Zero will do business in the 12-12.50 crore nett range as per early estimates which is around 30% better than Monday. The growth is less than normal for a national holiday but it is sort of expected as the film did not trend strongly over the weekend and the Monday number was pretty decent considering the weekend so some of the growth was baked into the Monday collection.

Also the best markets are UP and Bihar and Christmas is probably the weakest national holdiay in these parts and they have grown less than places like Bengal and South despite the film being liked best in UP and Bihar. The growth this Christmas day is generally less this year as films like Kedarnath and KGF which are doing much lower numbers and have potential for huge growth are also not showing that huge growth for a national holiday.

The collections of Zero till date are 76-77 crore nett and the big drop will come on Wednesday which will tell where week will end. The five day business is what it should have done over the weekend from that 19 crore nett start.

Every time one of SRK's film comes out and flops One of the most consistent excuses is that public does not understand or it is a niche movie. Seriously?? Public could understand an Andhadhun but failed to understand Zero? Kuch bhi!!

He just came to visit Aafiya at a NASA like space centre only to find a mumbai local train station jaisi lambi line of people standing to get into the mission mars competition. Waha mulaqat hui Makeup didi se aur phir kya? One thing led to another and then we have Bauaa competing with a chimp to get selected for the mission. 😆

Like someone said in the review,this mission mars shit should've been a completely different movie altogether!

Oh and also, he has been oribitting around planets in space for the past 15 years.😆

so "avant garde" !! normal "mass" audience couldn't identify with SRK's masterpiece 😭
