His behavior is typical douchebag bro off screen, but he is an excellent actor. No questions. If the question is about BO pull, he is getting there. Khans too didn't happen in a day.

I think he is decent actor...just like all others in his generation, they all have their plus points and their flaws...

but as few here mentioned, he doesnt have the BO pull and definitely cannot be called a superstar yet...and he does get more pampered by bollywood then his contemporaries and definitely more then he deserves...

for me personally, his off-screen persona over powers so much that i resent even watching his movies...

No,not at all! He is practically one of the best in the business today...He may not be a superstar yet but has the makings of becoming one...You say Sanju is not because of him? I say Sanju is such a huge success not because of Sanjay, not because Hirani and not even because of Ranbir but because of his acting...People flocked to the theaters despite the obvious whitewashing just to watch the 'act' in the actor Ranbir...I personally know a lot of people who at first didn't want to watch the movie because of its whitewashing but finally couldn't resist, just for Ranbir's acting!

I think he is a good actor but I don't think he could play Bajirao or Ram from Ramleela. So there are limitations. Everyone has some limitations.

Yes. But then Bolly has very few so called 'hero' actors who can act so its no surprise. He's one of the best of this generation though no doubt about it. Barfi and Tamasha are proof! But he has to stop playing the man-child now. Man-child confused about his future in a foreign land is done to death by him.
