Fatima bagged the mammoth budgeted film TOH right after Dangal. There was so much hype about her back then while Sanya had smaller budget high content risque films like Pataaka and Badhaai Ho.

Now Badhaai Ho has reached the 6th week while TOH bombed miserably. I have always liked Sanya more than Fatima so I am not complaining. 😆

😆 When I was watching badhaai ho, I kept thinking "holy moly this other dangal girl is prettier and also a better actor". This just goes to show even if what you are getting in the moment seems shitty, you never know what good things await you.

I think sanya chose better tbh. Both these girls need good scripts to shine. Neither is a commercial space flowerpot heroine types.

Sanya chose the script where she had less role but it was close to relatable persona.

Fatima went wrong with dhoom dhamaka type script where she had no scope to do anything except cry/frown.

Are haan! I felt bas for Sanya because both Fatima and Zaira were bagging movies and gaining credit, while she was relegated to the bg. Glad she is having her moment now!

What happens when you suck up too much to your boss I guess. You get a bad deal at the end.😆 (that is,if all the Aamir-Fathima rumours were true.)

I honestly liked Fathima way more than Sanya in Dangal mainly because Sanya got a raw deal in the film more than anything else. F was fabulous as Geeta. Loved S in Pataakha. She was more or else a supporting and okay performer in Badhaai Ho though.

The moment aamir took hold of fatty's career I knew she was going to share the same fate as vani. Udhar rani ke raja ne kaam bigada...idhar hanikarak bapu ne.. 😆

I saw the girls in the Dangal promotions and Sanya was much smarter and more confident. Fatima is more conscious and acc to me less talented. Sanya is on her way to better things while Fatima is left playing a 50 yo's rumoured gf.

Correct. But her acting was appreciated in Pataakha and Badhai Ho is a blockbuster where she was well-liked. Sanya has a fun personality which helps in terms of getting fans. Plus Aamir said she is like Juhi Chawla when Juhi was younger...so since then I am her fan haha! 😛

Fatima is a decent actress...and has other talents like photography and drawing. I hope she finds her niche. While Sanya may be like Juhi, Fatima reminds me of Aamir's first wife Reena. 😆 What casting for Dangal! 😆
