Itna dukhi hone wali baat hai nahi. We can always go back and watch their best movies. I would rather have their nice memories than them completely ruining it. So hadn't watched any of their recent stupidities.

Time for them to move on to Rishi Kapoor style roles. Immediately stop with the larger than life headaches.

They can comeback if they stop releasing their movies during holidays. Festival seasons are getting crowded, even if other movies don't directly clash, the public perception that peach tastes shit so apple would taste like amrit, makes them appreciate movies releasing in two weeks or released a week ago. Instead of festive holidays or any holiday they should book a holiday-less month, the whole month... make sure they get open weeks and bully the pesky coat-tailers who want their movie to make money through clash factor.

People are still willing to pay for over-priced tickets for the Khans... they won't need holidays to make 100 cr + in 3 days.

They're all in the same boat. Social media has changed everything. Star power could carry a movie for a weekend earlier because WOM wouldn't get out quickly.

Now that won't happen. Masala movies are the only ones that are somewhat critic and WOM proof. Everyone knows it's trash but it's entertaining and a certain audience will always watch it.

Its not about holidays or festivals. Both Race3 and TOH were shitty movies. Bad script, was not well made and everything including songs/dances/dialogues sucked. It is not even fair to compare race3 with other movies cause it is whole other level of non sense.

Khans are not over. They should just start choosing better scripts. They will come back again with another blockbuster. This year was just not for them.

Masala movies are ones that target a lower class audience and must include action. Zero has no action at all. It's a romantic movie.

Even TOH is not straight out masala. That wannabe Pirates stuff was targeting the upper classes though I'm sure the fights/action brought in some traditional masala audience early on.

Outright masala is stuff like Rowdy Rathore, Singham, Simmba. Even the Race franchise is a bit too slick.
