Here Anjs clearly misunderstood and explained her position. Frankly it was easy to misunderstand because that fan said she met Ranbir and Alia at a fashion show.

I actually didn't know that Rishi Kapoor was in Sinai getting treatment. This is the first I'm hearing that. Last I had heard and read was what Masand said. So if he truly does have cancer then yes I understand Ranbir being there with him and missing his grandmother's funeral. Of course I don't judge him for that. I think I was pretty clear about it even in the other discussion. Whether you don't remember that or are choosing to ignore that part is your thing.

I posted my so called gem yesterday when this was a fairly new topic. I came to defend myself when you brought up our discussion from last week just to pile onto what was clearly a misunderstanding by Anjs.

Alia traveling with sid vs now with Ranbir, will it goes both ways. If her being with Ranbir is a sign of a relationship then that means her and Sid weren't PR either. Why do I insist that this one is still PR? Because this time Alia makes sure that people know she's with Ranbir even when Ranbir is trying to be there for his ill father.

Ranbir doesn't need Alia for anything except to make sure his Sunju promotions went smoothly. You really think without Alia in the picture he could have gotten away with two months of promotions without a single person asking him about Mahira and those controversial pictures, his rare statement about her, all the while dealing with the controversy of Sanjay Dutt and the movie whitewashing him? Keep in mind what Pakistani artist related controversy did during ADHM promotions. Let's be honest, Alia did him a huge favor there. No she didn't affect the movie in anyway nor does she have anything to do with it being a blockbuster. But her presence helped his image during promotions greatly and helped him avoid potential controversy.

Going forward we can run in circles with our points of view or you can choose to ignore this heartless ... oh wait, you changed your mind about that didn't you? Sorry, this mean Sid fan.

I don't go to RK fansites. It's basically what I read here or whatever pictures might pop up on some paparazzi Instagram accounts.

Yes Alia definitely helped RK with his PR during Sunju promotions. Everyone would have asked Ranbir about Mahira. Him not answering or calling media useless wouldn't have helped him avoid any controversy. I think it's naive to think he can just waive his hands and dismiss the media and avoid controversy. They would ask him and then speculate and make headlines out if his answer or non-answer regardless. But Alia and Ranbir was a bigger juicier headline than Ranbir and Mahira and everyone forgot about the latter. Specially since Ranbir's mother and sister were involved which prompted the marriage rumors.

Alia shot herself in the foot with the Katrina angle. I don't know whether she anticipated that or not. She also made other booboos, like shooting that fitness video on Ranbir's balcony and then tagging Katrina. She definitely got mocked for all those posts where she credited Ranbir and he's not even on Instagram. So she caused all of her own bad PR and ironically is helping Ranbir get more bad PR. But during Sunju promotions she definitely helped him avoid a potential controversy. Incidentally Ranbir himself was subject of a lot of mocking after his sharbat comment. So Alia is not the sole culprit.
