Oh God I can't see her like this. This was so heart wrenching to watch. I had tears in my eyes seeing her so sad and in tears. I am so proud of her.

It's so heart wrenching to see one like this... She is very brave to come out and speak and also provide ongoing support to those who might need it...

Strange how this thread is ignored for the purity of the issue but for bashing an actress looks or dresses gets a good number of hits and comments...

There is still an stigma attached to mental illness which makes Deepika all the more courageous for speaking up. Depression is very real but it's not tangible like cancer or heart disease so most people still have a hard time understanding it or accepting it. This video and Deepika speaking up has made that hurdle a little easier to overcome for some people. More power to her.

When people say why public figures should speak up on causes that benefit society as a whole and mean it ,this is why? It brings awareness.It brings openness .It starts dialogues.

she is a braveheart... not only for fighting it and coming out a winner, but also to share it with everyone, despite knowing that she may be ridiculed for it...

And that is, exactly, what happened... not only was she ridiculed, but she was also called fake and an attention seeker just for discussing her issue and genuinely trying to help others having the same issues...

But still she goes on, not caring what the world calls her, or that they call it attention seeking or fake or any other name... she is still sharing her experience, her issues, what she faced, to make difference, maybe to that one person who probably is going through the same thing and is clueless about it...

kudos to her... proud to be her fan...
