this was BAD

some fights scenes look comical and the vfx is tacky at places

but most disappointing part is kangana herself..she is very OTT in fight scenes and the dialogue delivery just does not work in a movie and character of this magnitude

this shows exactly why not everyone can pull off a SLB type period movie..not everyone (even the best of actors) can look convincing doing it..and kangana is exactly telling us that here..

I am offended!
See the pronunciation,I am already scared of dialogues. And widemouth all time, huh!

I have vivid memory of Jhansi ki rani played by Varsha Usgaokar in serial, I cried for days when she died,I was so small then. I was looking forward eagerly to this and was disappointed when this project was postponed.

I know historical/grandeur movies ki Hawa hai but bow everyone suits such role you need that aura.

pathetic vfx, like Thugs... may I know why there is need to include such poor attempt of special effects,

I still be going to watch this movie, for manikarnika, Jhansi ki rani ke liye

Not impressed with the teaser at all. Kangana was not convincing as a warrior queen. Her body language, voice modulation and dialogue delivery was not up to the mark. The BGM was not impactful. VFX was cartoonish. Heavily inspired by SLB movie.

Hope the trailer surprise me in a good way.

The background music and cinematography I liked.. Esp the one scene where the horse almost stumbles but moves on due a blast.. Dont know why but that stood out.. Kangana looks confident no doubt, but dint like the slo mo dialogue.. And the wide eyed stare got repetitive..

To me set looks fine. It is the war scenes, I have problem. Action direction is not good. Kangana looks fragile, not as a warrior queen.

Awesome teaser, kangana is Manikarnika.

As for copying SLB , all historical movies resemble each other. I saw a lot of Madhubalas Anarkali in slb movies and it's fine to get inspired.

As long as Manikarnika shows the story of jhansi ki Rani , it's definitely good going.

There is no two ways about it that the frames looks strikingly similar to BM. Funnily they are some pretty famous ones as well, for example both the shots of PeeCee. We have seen them so many times off late, it is difficult to ignore and that is the first thing you end up noticing. Moving over from those shots, even the eye popping is too much in the entire teaser. It is missing a unique factor. Probably trailer would be better off in showcasing the essence of the movie, for me, teaser couldn't do that. Also I hope the trailer has more charecters coming up.
