I mean deepika did piku and Priyanka did barfi fashion mary kom.

so alia did not start doing content based films...

imagine alia in those films...

and tbh it is kind of hard to take alia seriously as a true star. you need the aura...

wow

i remember many deepu fans laughing when july18 ormax results were out..coz alia was no.2 then..that time ormax list was GOSPEL TRUTH.

now when tables have turned..lol

time is changing..i doubt today someone like kat can ever achieve what she did..i mean look at the 100cr movies this year..they were all content driven..audience want acting primarily now..yes salman and others who became stars much earlier are still there..but among the new lot.they really do..which is exactly why a disha etc can never become a star in todays times..so aura and all..the movies collections and whether BOI..or ormax..all are saying alia as no.1

IDK how influential or true this is, but if this is true then 👏.

I make a fuss about Aloo being handed roles and being KJO created. I still stand by that. But I also want to recognize Aloo's hard work, talent that took her here. Aloo is not great looking by BW standards or glamorous or sexy. So to reach #1 is breaking a barrier. So kudos once more Aloo. 👏

I think alia is a good actress...but she wouldn't be number 1 without kjo and the amount of hype given to her.

if deepika is number 1 she earned it on her own with no hype and praise on every platform. karan johar was not prasiing her and talking about her in every episode of kwk. neither did she have industry backing to work with the best directors in every films.

so call alia number 1...but she didn't earn it on her own..and that's not a definition of a star who people can aspire to look up to. she is hardworking ill give her that...but everyone is...

stardom and success are way two different things. You can be the boss and the topper...but that doesn't make you the star of the pack.

people don't and should never aspire to look upto them either..and i am glad..or else there is no bigger star than salman and i don't see people running over others on foot path..

superstar does not by any way means you need to have qualities to aspire people..they are not running the country..

What has Deepika done in the past couple of months to keep #1? She has no movies lined up. Rumors of her wedding is the only thing.

Alia is coming with a strong movie in Raazi (where she probably going to win awards for) and at least 4 movie releases coming in 2019 (Gully Boy, Kalank, Brahmastra and possible Sadak 2). She has momentum.

Despite all the help from Kjo, it's quite path breaking for Alia to become the first top actress in Bollywood ever, who doesn't have any sex appeal. That's an achievement for sure. Audience is finally maturing to see that women have more than just looks.

Also this list will help the remaining few people to change their opinion, who were still in delusion that jobless Deepika is still the #1 star.😆
