#Manmarziyaan has a low Day 1... Started on a dull note in the morning, but picked up towards evening... North circuits were better... Biz will scale upwards on Sat and Sun [a norm these days], but real test will be on weekdays... Fri 3.52 cr. India biz.

wasnt Salman Dulquer the original choice to play Robbie. I think there was blind about it. I wish they had taken him, AB looked old and not really fit ( bit overweight)

Otherwise I really enjoyed the movie. It was house full. We had to sit in the front row.

Not possible since Stree is still going strong and BGMC, a more commercial drama is releasing.

Day Two Manmarziyan Mitron Love Sonia

Manmarziyan showed good growth of around 50% on day two as it collected 4.75 crore nett but it should really have been more considering the first day was low. Despite doing its business in Delhi NCR and East Punjab the collections are not really as strong as they should be. In Delhi city its certain multiplexes collecting well and in East Punjab its mainly Gurgaon which is giving close to one third of the business in the circuit.

The first two day busines of Manmarziyan is as follows

Friday - 3,25,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 4,75,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 8,00,00,000 apprx

Mitron had similar growth to Manmarziyan but from a lower level and it had to double up on Saturday to have a chance at the box office. The two day collections of Mitron is as follows.

Friday - 45,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 70,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 1,15,00,000 apprx

Love Sonia is a poor fare and business and is not going anywhere. The first two day business is as follows

Friday - 25,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 40,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 65,00,000 apprx

#Manmarziyaan witnesses a healthy 45.17% growth on Day 2, although after a low Day 1, the jump in biz should've been higher... North circuits are performing better... Fri 3.52 cr, Sat 5.11 cr. Total: 8.63 cr. India biz.

Manmarziyaan Review:

The maturity with which Anurag Kashyap's Manmarziyaan talks about love and relationships is refreshing. The seemingly conventional story of a love triangle, gets original with its treatment and portrayal of love. With characters constantly oscillating between confusion and complex emotions, Manmarziyaan presents a new and updated look at romance and relationships. It's unlike any Anurag Kashyap film you've seen before. Despite its strengths, this romantic drama might be, at times, a little too mature for the average audience.

I really enjoyed the movie! Anurag Kashyap has very cleverly crafted this movie. He gets the emotions and feelings of a millennial love right. It is the angst, emotions and feelings of.characters that really shine. All of the three leads, even Abhishek are flawed but they all are also very vulnerable and it was wonderfully shown. Tapsee was simply amazing, Vicky was very effective and after a long time Abhishek was in top form - after watching this movie I really miss him onscreen. Another amazing thing was Amit Trivedi's music which goes so well with narrative👏

Yes, it is not a flawless movie and is too long but it is still a really good movie😊
