He was asked about Ishaan...He was answering about Ishaan...lol not sure how you connected with Jhanvi somehow...he didn't throw Jhanvi under the bus, may be its your trick to indirectly make a topic about Jhanvi...nothing more than that 😆

He was asked about Ishan, he is bound to answer about Ishan, why should he bring in Jhanvi just to praise.

Because he first said that Dhadak got its due - which to me means that the entire film worked

Then he quickly changed it to "or rather Ishaan's performance got its due - indirectly indicates certain things or people didn't get the due.

No. He meant Dhadak was watched by more people and became more talked about and well known, so Ishaan got enough recognition for that movie, whereas not many people watched BTC. So in that way, he didn't get enough appreciation for his performance in BTC. He didn't mention or imply anything about Janvhi at all.
