Remember jagga jasoos was stalled coz Ranbir and Kat broke up and took ages to complete . They kept giving excuses.

Here I see kangana making all efforts to make sure movie is released on the date promised.

Krish may have prior commitments that does not allow him to direct any more. NTR biopic is not a project he can ignore, NTR was a legend in South cinema. Also this movie was getting delayed which makes it more difficult for him to accommodate dates.

Basically all efforts are being taken to get the movie released on time. I don't know as a lead a to what else needs to be done.

Seriously? Kangana can afford to walk out of the movie or stall the shoot after the recent duds she has delivered? That too in a film where she plays title role..she absolutely needs this movie and would do anything to not let it slip out of her hands..even if it means chopping of co actor's scenes.

So Manikarnika will go the Simran way. Too much of Kangana on screen is a turn off.

Then why would Sonu work under Farah for HNY

It's not a gender thing , what I can believe is that Sonu doesn't think Kangana is qualified to direct him and he probably is more senior than her and probably has an issue with that

More than these two I think it's digusting that the director is mia. Cmon! You signed up to make such a big movie you should've freed up your schedule until it released - like what SLB does! You have to at least owe it to the legacy involved ..

Sorry guys I'm not picking a side between Sonu or Kangana - I fully and completely blame the director - completely unprofessional and unethical!

I want to give Kangana the benefit of the doubt. But my gut instinct tells me that this is not the case.

Kangana gave Hanslal Mehta a very difficult time during the making of Simran. Despite the entire film revolving around her character, she wanted more control. I think her controlling nature is whats making Manikarnika fall apart. She's not stepping in to pick up someone else's slack. She's driving people away and then pretending to be a martyr.

Kangana is a phenomenal actress. She has worked very hard to get where she has and deserves her accolades. It was bold of her to take on nepotism and gender inequality in Bollywood and many people here supported her through that.

But now the fame has gone to her head. She perceives herself as superior to others and is rubbing people the wrong way. It is but fair that she gets criticized when she does the wrong thing.

I'll be honest. None of us know the whole story. You could be right. I can only go by what my gut says. When my gut said she was being bullied and misunderstood, I stood by her. When my gut says she is acting like a self aggrandizing diva, I criticize her. If someday I am proven wrong for either stance by facts, I will retract and apologize.

Sonu signed to be directed by Krish ... I think it's more a creative vision issue. He signed for Krish creative vision not Kangana. He doesn't need to give any justification beyond that.

Krish is a respected director never accused of unprofessionalism as dear Queen of Lies Kangana is known for. What you don't seem to understand is Krish completed the film as written by the writer. Both are happy with the film they set out to make.

The actress hired to play RLB doesn't like the rough cut and is insisting it be reshot. The director appears to have enough self respect to say no. Sadly the producers either lack the fortitude to stand up to her or are being blackmailed and cannot. You are blaming the hijacked instead of the hijacker.

Say whatever you want to. In the end if the movie works, she will in the forefront for another national award. If not, movie flops, still all will be forgotten and she will go ahead to other projects and try to do better esp that kabbadi movie she is doing.

Actors have given more continuos flops and survived be it SRK OR Salman or Ranbir etc

If they can still survive so can she and she has already achieved a lot.

I am waiting for the trailer now. Let's see how it turned out and see if it has any weight and scope to it.

Good for you. for those wise enough, they already recognize her nature and are good with it.

if Kangana wins an award it becomes meaningless, if the rest of he industry get it, it becomes deserved.

if it were to me , none of the bollywood stars deserve any award, it should be given to deserved outstanding actors of regional cinema
