for the first time for Ayan Mukerji's
Brahmastra. Last year, when the duo went
to Bulgaria to shoot for the first schedule of
the film, rumours of their dating started to
make headlines. In June, in an interview
with GQ, Ranbir Kapoor admitted that he is
dating Alia. However, the actress has been
tight-lipped and hasn't given any
confirmation. In an interview with IANS,
when the Raazi actress was asked about
how the link-up rumours with Ranbir are
given importance along with her films, she
gave an interesting answer.
Alia Bhatt said that she is used to media
attention since childhood. The Kapoor &
Sons actress said that she isn't much
affected with these rumours. "I grew up in a
family of popular talent who has always
been in the news. I've seen recognition and
media attention right from childhood. With
time, I've pretty much got used to it and
now it doesn't really affect me as much. My
only focus is to embody characters that can
have a strong, positive impact on the
audience," said Bhatt.

Alia Bhatt proved that she is one of the
phenomenal actresses of this time with her
spectacular film choices and stellar
performances. So what attracts her to doing
such different roles? Alia answered, ""I want
to keep pushing myself with every role that I
play. To strike a balance between
commercial and brave films has always been
a priority. I make it a point to not let
pressure influence my choice of roles. An
inhibition is always present in every actor's
mind when they take up a challenging role,
but the focus is always to give it our best
shot and that is what we always strive for."
