Stupid movie. The storyline makes Sridevi's character responsible for everything, but it was the only character which made little sense. Urmila's character made no sense, and Anil's character was also no doodh ka dhula.

And yes, the plot was so ridiculous, it seemed comical to me. Half of the time, it seemed like the movie is a comedy, and isn't taking itself seriously.

Man what a film! I swear all of us have different recollections of what happened in the movie lol.

I was under the impression that's Sri never divorced Anil and Urmilla lives with them like a rakhail; and suddenly becomes more the role of the wife. Wasn't that the deal?

I remember them signing some paper but IDT I understood the divorce part back then. Anyway like someone already mentioned, I enjoyed this movie a lot back then and I truly question my choices now. LOL.

No. She gave her consent for her husband's second marriage. So she can not file Bigamy case on her husband. It's not giving official divorce to her husband either , so she continue her marriage with her husband .However husband can divorce his first wife using that letter.

Some times I really miss the ridiculousness of 90s movies. No wonder I enjoyed ridiculous Judwaa 2 even with atrocious acting by both the female leads.

i think they did, this is why jhanvi had to sign papers when she leaves so they could remarry
