The Pakistani character Kamala Khan aka Ms Marvel is one such superhero in development as suggested by Marvel boss Kevin Feige to BBC in a recent interview. "We are doing Captain Marvel right now. Captain Marvel is shooting right now with Brie Larson. Ms Marvel, which is another character in the comic books, the Muslim hero who is inspired by Captain Marvel is definitely in the works. We have plans for that once we have introduced Captain Marvel to the world, said Feige

In this milieu, the introduction of a Muslim female superhero will be a priority for any studio, and Priyanka Chopra the only prominent South Asian actor who has tasted mainstream success in Hollywood with the blockbuster like Baywatch, and the Successful TV show Quantico it is no surprise that She is a Favourite among Marvel Fans to portray the Iconic pakistani superhero.

PS: Don't you think she would be the First Choice for this role considering her popularity in US or would they cast a pakistani actress to avoid any controversy?? If yes who would be your choice for Kamala Khan??

She was the first actress who came to my mind when I heard Marvel's gonna be making a Miss Marvel film!

However Kamala Khan is said to be a teen or something right?

PC would be a fab choice for this role tbh <3

Not a chance in my opinion. Realistically they will look for a Muslim first just because not wanting to seem anti Muslim and not engaging in cultural appropriation are such big things right now. From a business standpoint they will want a younger actress they can lock into a multi picture deal for years and years and years in case it is successful (comic mean sequels, sequels, and more sequels).

Kamala Khan is supposed to be a teenager not someone who's in their mid thirties. 😕 No way PC can play the part.

Ms. Marvel is one of my fav characters, hopefully they won't f**k up the casting for the movie.

Priyanka voiced Ms Marvel in The Avengers Academy game so some people think/want Priyanka as Ms Marvel. Also for a lot of people Priyanka is the only brown girl they know so ends up getting fancast. Unless they grow up Ms Marvel's character this won't happen.

They will have to go for a young Muslim girl because you would be accused of being racist otherwise. Virtue signaling is in. Being woke is very important in HW.

They will find someone unknown like Gal Gadot and turn her into the new IT girl.
