Race 3 Feels The Heat On Tuesday

Race 3 feels the heat on Tuesday as it sees a big drop in collections. The film is looking at collections in the 8-9 crore nett range as the Eid factor goes out of play and the ticket rates at multiplexes fall from the weekend rates it had over the first four days. The weekend ticket rates had meant multiplexes did not drop as much as they could of on Monday especially in circuits where the film was affected by Pre Eid. The Tuesday is acting like the Monday for the film.

The collections in Delhi and Punjab yesterday suggested a drop yesterday as other circuits were also likely to play catch up but if the collections come in at around 8 crore nett it will be a huge drop. Normally it is 25-30% when Eid comes to an end but at 8 crore nett it will be over 40% for this film. A 9 crore nett total would it put it close to the normal Eid trend but its still lower than it should be.

The total of the film 123-124 crore nett in five days is still good but the reports are now catching up with the film. It will have to stabilize at the levels and show normal weekday trends till Thursday to have a chance of having a decent second week.
