Race 3 had a fair Monday with collections at around 14 crore nett after a huge weekend of 101 crore nett. But it was a mixed bag as circuits dominated by a Muslim audience held up very strongly while others dropped 60%. Looking at the numbers the film is looking on course to emerge a HIT but looking at the trend of key centres with a limited Muslim it suggests the drops will come as the Eid factor subsides.
The four day total is a huge 115 crore nett but its difficult to say where the week will end up just yet as the it will not be the normal weekday trend for the film.
The collections of Race 3 for the first four days are as follows
Friday - 27,69,00,000
Saturday - 36,25,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 37,00,00,000 apprx
Monday - 14,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,14,94,00,000 apprx
The best hold came in UP, Bihar, Nizam and Gujarat as both multiplexes and single screens held up very well but it is because of the Eid factor which lingers on foe a few days after Eid.
The film needs to do a share of around 95 crore to emerge a HIT and at the moment it is on course to do that but as mentioned above there could be drops in circuits holding up so well over the next few days.
