Obviously if the quality keeps going down, it's just a matter of time before people stop waiting to watch their movies on a holiday. At that point, they can't have a solo release on a holiday no matter how badly they want it. Either way, they're aging and it's just a matter of time before they lose their edge.

For now, I think we can agree that Salman has some serious star power that despite horrendous reviews, he had a fabulous opening weekend. The rest of the box office numbers will most likely rely on the content.
