business at the box-office. The film has
surpassed the 50 crore mark at the box-
office. Producers Rhea Kapoor and Ekta
Kapoor celebrated the film's success by
throwing a bash recently.
Sonam Kapoor said in an interview to a daily
that she is on cloud nine with the film's
success. "I couldn't have asked for more. I
mean, the numbers have gone beyond all
expectations. Right? And it's very reassuring.
The numbers it did at the box office gave
me a lot of confidence and also made a
difference to the way female-centric films
are perceived by the film trade. she said.
Sonam Kapoor was asked about comparison
with Alia Bhatt's Raazi. Raazi has managed
to garner over Rs. 100 crores. Sonam said, "I
haven't seen Raazi. But, I am only hearing
good things about it. It has already done a
business of Rs. 100 crores. Our Veere Di
Wedding isn't there yet. But, I hope it would
be.
She also talked about her bond with Veere
Di Wedding co-stars Shikha Talsania, Swara
Bhasker and Kareena Kapoor Khan. "Swara
and I have been friends for five years.
Working together in this film has only made
us closer. Bebo's family and my family have
known each other for decades. I've grown
up idolising her. Now, after Veere Di
Wedding, she is a dear friend. I've grown
fond of Shikha Talsania is too, Sonam said.

You do realize that one can grow up admiring someone who is only one year it's senior or even a junior for that matter. I don't think it has anything to do with age gap.

exactly and according to Sonams brother and father she is still growing up anyways, said by them when she was already 30/31 😆
