Bobby Deol is set to be back with a bang in
Salman Khan starrer Race 3. People have
been waiting to see the actor back on the
big screen and were impressed to see him
in the trailer of Race 3.
Bobby has been in the industry for more
than two decades with several hits in his
kitty. He has been a part of thriller films
namely Gupt: The Hidden Truth, Soldier,
Ajnabee, Humraaz to name a few. Talking
about his popularity in the 90s, Bobby spoke
at length to PTI. He stated, "I wish I knew
that I had reached the level up with two-
three movies but I never realised that. I
never understood that I had reached a
certain level of stardom. I was very normal
about it. I wish I had noticed it. Maybe that
would have made me focus on not losing it.
I should have been more attentive towards
it."
He further spoke about the competition in
Bollywood saying, "I never thought people
were competing with me. I was like
everybody deserves work and why should I
come in their way. But things had changed,
everybody was going to the producers'
office to get work, which could have been
mine. I did not realise that and slowly
started losing. I wish I had realised then. I
wish I had a better physique but it is never
too late."
Speaking about the positive people around
him, Bobby said, "For someone who is
starving for work, what better can happen
in his life than a big franchise film. Now the
negativity will not take away my desire to
work. Salman is a big star and still, he has a
fire, Anil (Kapoor) has tremendous energy.
My dad is 82 years old and he wants to
work every day of his life, even my brother."
He concluded by saying, "I don't know why I
did not take that positiveness from them."

I think Bobby would have been better received or more anticipated if he had any substantial acting skills, or if he was even good in comedy. But he is barely average in both. Let's see if he sustains. I thought it was sad how he laid himself bare in his interview with Anupama. Though I have major doubts about him making a successful comeback, I wish him the best.

Jhoot, lol. He's a better actor in real life, he was always insecure of the Khans when he was at his peak going by his interviews back then. Fridge protector is forced to be humble now because of circumstances but even now he be lying. Simple!

@ Blue...Thanku for not coming in between the Khans, Kumars, Roshans and Devgans and their work...warna kahin ke nahi rehte ye sab.

He was never a great actor to start with and I highly doubt that he never tried getting movies by visiting producers' offices and just lied at home and got offers. His dad tried to make movies with him means that he did not get work despite trying and I don't think that a side role in Race 3 will do him any good. It's a lesser role compared to Abhishek Bachchan in Dhoom series. Hope so he gets some good work but being the main lead at 50 is far fetched.

Abhay on the other hand needs to do more work
