Honestly, he is like any other young spoilt brat around. Entitled, has strong opinions and think they are better. I have seen plenty of them of in my life and I'm pretty sure most of the people in the industry are that way. Arrogance reeks in the interviews of so many actors...dissing regular 9 to 5 jobs, which is also as stupid. But nobody cares. 😆

It is his failure that is putting people off, to this extent. Twitter pe toh failures ko troll Karna ka bahana chahiye. Biggest example is his sister only. Didn't even realize when she turned out to be the super laadli from being absolutely dissed everywhere. Success hi bolta hai. 😆

yes pretty much, Seems like he will be bashed and abused for the smallest thing because his movies didn't work ...one successful movie and tune will change of many...and God forbid if he doesn't click then just like abhishek bachhan, uday chopra, Tushar kapoor...will end up become a punching bag for venting and bashing - sad but very much true.

I really hope he's being truthful here and didn't actually speak that way about his own sisters...because that quote is extremely sickening and reeks of misogyny. Wonder why he picked the male-centric "PadMan" to highlight as an example and overlooked all other films of Sonam like Neerja, Aisha, and Khoobsurat, where she had the central role. He should know better than anyone that actresses don't have the same influence and power in BW and have to work twice as hard to compete with their male counter-parts. Not only does he insult his sisters but completely undermines the success of all women in the industry.

Such an inflated ego and has nothing to show for it. 2 disasters under his belt but wants to promote himself as some savior of Hindi cinema. He is so irritating. 🤢

Can't stand this guy...he blames the audience calling them unintelligent for not watching his shitty movie...trashes his father's work..tries to act like Bollywood ka maseeha...gives acting tips to much senior actors...won't be surprised if he actually meant/said those things about his sisters...

What did this guy do to get so much hate ? To the point of making it look like his family is cursed to have a son or brother like him 😆 Last I checked, Sonam has also made a lot of arrogant statements in the past. The only difference is that she has just delivered a successful film while Harsh has delivered a disaster. I don't know if this guy will ever deliver a hit but if he does, I'd love to read how the opinions have changed. Cos perception is everything 😆

Meh. I don't think his statement is that off the mark about how actresses are pretty much perceived in bollywood. Just because other actors don't say it out loud doesn't mean most don't think like this. I think Harsh was just stupid enough to say these statements out loud instead of just letting it stay as unacknowledged internalized sexism in the industry. Guy desperately needs PR help at this point. But who I am kidding? One or two hit movies and people will automatically start appreciating him. Failure makes all the criticism 10 times worse because you don't have any shield. (Though it takes special talent to not realize how assholish you sound and be completely oblivious like this guy is, guess he is the favorite and spoiled mamma's boy at home).

Hi! We edit for brevity, yes, but the answer to the question at hand has not been taken out of context. If readers perceive it as sibling-bashing, you can't chalk it up to being misquoted. I have a full recording of the interview and stand firmly behind these edited excerpts.

Also, I had shared the interview with the production house and harshvardhan directly on the day it was published and would've been open to conversation if there were any concerns but no issues were brought to our attention.

If there is a disparity between what you say and what you mean, then you aren't saying it right. It does not mean you were misquoted. https://twitter.com/HarshKapoor_/status/1003697599231164417 ...

Thanks Neej. He took to twitter to "clarify but when I did the same against his allegations, he blocked me lol. Anyway, it's a verbatim Q&A. He could've used Twitter constructively to understand his choice of words was poor and explain if he meant differently buuut

I do have the audio clip but this unfounded hullabaloo is not going to make me bend backwards to explain myself. The recording is for me to write my print article. If the concerned party approaches me professionallynot ranting on twitterthen I am happy to be answerable

LmfOo. What. Bloody asshole!! Falls back on being "misquoted" when the concerned journo comes from front & tells him the reality... He deserves this completely. And nope, hasn't got to do with his failure. He's an arsehole. Pure & simple.

How times change with success or failure. I remember when his debut was announced girls on this forum were having orgasmic reactions about having yet another starkid to worship. I am sure if tomorrow his film clicks people hating him today will say 'Oh I knew from the moment I laid my eyes on him that the guy had it in him but the mean internet bashed him'.

Bhavesh Joshi will struggle to hit 1.5 Cr lifetime collections
He has 71k followers on Twitter

I don't see any spectacular reviews for his performance in either film... Abhishek and Ranbir were fairly popular despite their debuts not doing well. Even Imran Khan never did so bad.

There is no turnaround from this.
