She's close to 40. The change can't happen overnight. But if the audience enjoys her playing mom to a younger kid...then they might cast mother roles for teenagers and the older actresses could play those roles. And then the older actors can be cast opposite them. And these kinds of roles could change storytelling so by the time Anushka/Deepika/Sonam/Kangana are close to their forties things will be better for them. It's a starting point and Kareena is the bridge between the older and younger actresses since she's been in movies when both age groups were working.

They would have to see her as single parent, no? Either way i like unusual couple.. Kathik is super fun onscreen contrary to his offscreen image.. I would like their take on this new angle..

Being a Kareena fan, i am mch happy to see her n VDW rather than flowerpot roles in Salman Khan movies (However the movie is). Its time Kareena change her preferences. She needs to create space like Vidya to sustain.. Coz within 2/3 years she will not be casted opp Salman SRK etc.. This one looks more interesting than playing SRK's wife in some rumoured biopic...

Sridevi has already played mother of teenage daughters in English Vinglish and Mom.

So I dont know what are you talking about 😕

I haven't watched those movies since I was on a long break from bollywood and I'm still catching up. But those kinds of roles are obviously not happening frequently. Otherwise I wouldn't be seeing arguments of misogyny and sexism on a regular basis on twitter now would I?

Pakeezah: Well mine is, so yep! But as usual you misunderstand me. Few members on the previous pages wrote how she's beautiful so should play actresses role etc, I was going off that & saying, that just because she's beautiful is no reason for her to NOT do this role since this is a main lead/Main attraction role too.
