Salman could care less about destroying anyone's career. Although Vivek was nothing great and he failed on his own as hardly audience would go to theater for HIM in particular, I believe that was the only case where he could have really tried or wished to destroy VO's career. He isn't so passionate about anyone else in his life except for Aish.

I thought the friction started with the AIB roast thingy (which passed comments against arpita) and then the whole arjun malaika rumours gained more traction when arbaaz-malaika headed for divorce.. Although they did give out a statement that their divorce was not due to some businessman (whom malaika was supposedly cheating on arbaaz with) or any other third person, guess the damage was already done .. It looks like there is some implicit understanding among ppl attending any gathering with arjun and malaika not to post pics with both of them together on SM .. So as not to fuel rumors further..

and I don't think salman gives a shit about arjun .. Even if he felt vengeful, I don't think he would really do anything because he is close to Arjun's family.. And while individually no one in kapoor family might be superstars like the Khans , it is still a "respectable" bwood family with anil, boney having a lot of goodwill in the industry.

Btw, I feel like arjun is still on cordial terms with arpita in private..but staying away from her in public for obvious reasons.. Because she and Anshula seem to be fond of each other , going by their pics together from the reception.
