I've watched all her films except padman, there is only two performances I didn't like : Thank you and players ... The movies were bad !

She did amazing in Delhi 6, Aisha, Raanjhana, BMB, Bewakoofian and Neerja.

Her performance in Bewakoofiyan is so underrated.

Neerja is her best : she was flawless from the scene when a passenger gets murdered in front of her and his blood spurts on her, the one when she reads the letter of her abusive husband to the scene where the terrorists force her to sing to the scene where she reads the letter of her boyfriend and eat the cookie.

Credit to Ram Madhvani : I really hope she will get to work with him in the future again!

I thought Neerja was okay, I didn't think her performance was that good as made out to be on this forum, but it was one of her better ones. Honestly, I haven't liked much of Sonam's performances. I thought she had potential prior to seeing Saawariya and even after but I've always felt that she lacks the charisma, voice modulation, acting prowess, and screen presence. Her dancing is pretty limited too, is very awkward and gangly when dancing. Also, it doesn't help that she mostly stars in fluff movies or movies that I haven't been interested in except for Neerja. I like her as a fashionista better she can photograph well too.

Not a sSonam fan but i watched Neerja today for the first time and she was amazing truly amazing in it.

How do you know that ? Just because your opinion doesn't match with whoever liked Sonam in Neerja ? why generalize ? Don't you think people might have actually liked her acting ?? lol kuch bhi...😆

Well its was an inspirational movie... People comments r driven by heroic act of Neerja...
Even Shradha doing neerja would hv fetched similar reviews 😛

She might not be that great actress like Sridevi, Kajol, Vidya Balan or Tabu but one thing that I appreciate her is that she didn't work on flowerpot roles and didn't dance on any item songs like Katrina Kaif or Jacqueline.

or Kareena for that matter who can forget Halkat Jawaani, Fevi Col and whatever that floppy song from Agent Vinod was called, and she begged to be part of some of those items like Fevicol for that matter.
Sonam is not as bad as she is made out to be
