If credit of padmavat goes to alleged PR, credit of raazi goes to PR too. For that matter any movie's success depends on PR.

Alia is quite much dissed on this forum, whereas her BO pull shows that the audience loves her

She is not hot or statuesque or a standout beauty, and that is why, despite all the shenanigans of nepotism and KJo bringing her work on platter, the responsibility on her to prove herself is even more..

and she DID it multiple times

Kids adore her as the cute dimpled girl, college going folks find her PYT, youngsters go to watch her movies, because they know it will turn out to be good, and the middle aged aunties vouch for her acting skills..my MIL finds her beautiful too😆

She isnt the hot fantasy of the males, but I think she would have realized it by now that playing sexy is not her thing..

DP was quite good in Padmaavat, but its true that the actor who walked away with most acclaim was Ranveer and SLB reaped benefits in terms of the moolah..so its not like she owned it..Last movie where she overpowered everybody was probably CE..she has yet to come up with an equivalent/ thunderous performance...
