The first scene was cringeworthy. Even though I am not Ranbir's fan I liked his acting but here it does seem like a parody of both Sanjay Dutt & Ranbir's acting.

He is kinda like Sanjay Dutt but also kinda like Munnabhai MBBS or Vaastav guys. An that's not who Sanjay is. I've seen Sanjay in koffee with Karan and Bollywood Hungama interviews. An he is not always speaking in that Bhai giri time. He can speak normal also. Anyway it seems that they are turning this into Forrest Gump. An innocent idiot who had a great many ups and downs in his life 😆 😆

Will see how it plays out

Ranbir did a good job embodying Sanju's walk, talk and his mannerisms overall.

The real problem seems to be the tone of the teaser, I'm not sure if the comic/parody tone is the right tone for the subject matter of the film. 😕

Ranbir has nailed the body language. Teaser looks okay, a bit like a pardoy in certain portions. Overall not up to the hype.

Let's see if watching it with sound will make any difference.

Don't know what to say, this is a big risk hope it pays off for him, i can't believe this is the same Hirani is this a parody or a comedy skit of hislife? . Sanjay Dutt had a lot of swag he was the manly type, which Ranbir naturally isn't he's the delicate types so this is a big task. Trailer will give better indication

Trailer is trash.

Film shown in last 10 seconds has different feel than comedy vibes they gave.

Also how shitty is hirani cinematography , too bright and polished , looks fake for a biopic

Well Dutt is one of Hirani's closest friends, obviously he will be glorified, it's a moot point. Instead of the usual dukhiyari 'drug problem, wrong friends' narrative, Hirani seems to have taken the comedy route to make people laugh and sympathise with 'Sanju'. Hirani made the audience lose their shit laughing at stuff like balatkaar, a grey character like Dutt can get positive response too, as long as the humour is excellent.

Good points : Ranbir adapted Sanjay's look , body language well !

I would rather say he looks like sanjay more than ranbir.

The different looks did suit him .

Bad points : I can see the " Besharam " wala Ranbir Kapoor here , so ya disappointed. Expectedmore as he is a good actor .

The teaser looked okayish , didnt give biopic vibes from any angle but if hirani has taken the comedy route then its fine ! Will have to wait for the film.
