krk calls everything flop. i think he feels insulted by shoojit who gave him a sarcastic response to his tweet. and sumit is not trade analyst. he used tag of cinema exhibitor to gain the blue tick and now claims he owns no cinemas. and he was exposed by komal nahta 2 times

I thought the box office verdict for this film didn't matter ? So why are Varun fans trying so hard to make it an "average lol

The film is a flop and everyone needs to accept it! Lol if it's a 30-40 budget it needs to make a lot more than 40
To be a successful film lol please learn how the box office works you can't call a movie that breaks even a success. Face reality please

first you go learn how it works and what cost did the film recover prior the release and then you will know.

it is a major failure ..not even crossing 50 crore with zero competition is really bad.The first week collections are so embarassing .

The way boi and taran are defending this outright failure is so off putting ..1 crore on second friday whch is nearly 80 percent drop from the first day and they say its a decent hold 😆

Yes it never matter but then i saw haters coming to bash with their useless arguments and i thought y not to have a less reason for varun to get bashed and mock

October was nevr a 100 crore movie

what it is doing is more than good.

All are parising VD.

What iam most happy is varun is least bothered aboutthe collections cause he knows he can do blockbusters anytime butthe challenge is do prove oneself as an serious performer.He proved that

Rajkumar rao was appreciated for trapped.Won awards

But that film earned only few crores.not even 5 crore also.

Rajkumar cant do judwaa, Dilwale, ABCD.

But varun can do a october, badlapur

as well as badri series,SOTY, ABCD

Thats what a true superstar is

and sumit kadel is based in kolkata

he just know theBO of bengal

no idea about mumbai properly

first he should relocate mumbai, understand the BO dynamics and then become trade analyst from the headquarters of hindi film industry. Not sitting in mamata bannerjee citadel and passing sermons on film business

This was always on the cards..all Shoorjit Sircar movies do business like that...

this film is going exactly Tumhari Sulu way which opened so poorly but with the power of content alone struggled and made its way to success...

october shall be a success for sure...if not a BIG HIT .. its a wonderful film though. aam aadmi ke bas ki nahi hai samajhna...still the metro audiences shall lap it up

This isn't Finding Fanny. It's got lower budget and it did have Rampage to compete with. The fact the that film will surpass as success is what's bothering fans who's fav's films are total washout

If this film was a Rajkumar Rao film. It would've been called super hit at 20cr. The fact Varun charged less than half amount for this film which is even confirmed by the makers is going to show that budget wasn't huge at all. According to BOI 40cr plus will give it an average verdict as the films recovered all cost prior release due to theatrical rights

The film is safe in economics trade terms as a big price for satellite and digital has covered its 35 crore budget and pa. Amazon have taken both digital and satellite and will probably offload satellite at a later date. But that is where it needs some appreciation with the theatrical audience because if it does not then the holders of satellite and digital face the burden, as recovery for them is a huge task because a film which does not run in theaters is unlikely to work in other formats unless its a commercial entertainer which October is not.

Week One - 27,75,00,000

Friday - 1,35,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 29,10,00,000

AS per BOI collection till 2nd fri is Rs.29.10 cr where as as per taran adarsh it is Rs.32.13 cr.

almost 10% difference.
