Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shahid Kapoor to team up for 'Woh Kaun Thi'

Recently, there have been a lot of fresh pairs
that have been roped in for Bollywood
movies. Be it Ayushmann Khurrana and
Sanya Malhotra for Badhaai Ho, Alia Bhatt
and Ranveer Singh for Gully Boy, Alia and
Ranbir Kapoor for Brahmastra and many
others. If recent buzz is anything to go by,
then Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shahid
Kapoor may soon join the bandwagon of
fresh pairs on screen for the first time.
Why do we say so? Well, turns out that
Aishwarya and Shahid may come together
for the remake of Woh Kaun Thi, as per a
Filmfare report. Shahid may be seen
reprising Manoj Kumar's character,
Aishwarya will reportedly portray the
character played by Sadhana in the original
film.
The report quoted a source as saying, "The
film will pay tribute to both Manoj Kumar
and Sadhana and who better than the
gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to step
into the ethereal Sadhana's shoes?
Sadhana's screen presence combined with
her captivating face was a huge crowd
puller for the film."
The source further told the publication that
the makers are quite keen to have
Aishwarya on board. Since the actress is
considered to be an epitome of beauty, she
is supposed to fit the bill for the part
perfectly.
Interestingly, Shahid Kapoor was once one
of the background dancers in Aishwarya's
hit film Taal. In one of the songs, (Kahi aag
lage) Shahid can also be seen draping a
cloth over Aish. And now, the duo may just
appear together as leads in a film. How
times change!
