Nothing happened to his career because he never a career, you need to have a career for it to be over which Saif never had, he was always a flop actor.

Saif Ali did not have a career,he did shine in a few movies but overall he wasnt a hit star. He never needed a career since he was born into a rich family. His ancestral inheritance overall is estimated to be around Rs 2000 Crore! He is extremely rich, no wonder Kareena married an oldie and father of two grown up kids.

the fact that he won NA at the time when his mom was chairman tells of his
"immense talent" does it not?it also speaks of his "strength of character "
na?even if his mom lobbied for him if he had little bit of shame he could
have denied it like Shashi Kapoor.he survived his nasal acting as he is
rich n privileged.hope he retires gracefully.
