Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's
names are often said in the same breath.
The two stars have not only delivered a 300
crore blockbuster Padmaavat recently but
their relationship status also keeps their
fans intrigued.
Rumours of their marriage surface every
now and then. No wonder Deepika's name
pops up wherever Ranveer Singh goes. At
News18 Rising India summit, the actor was
asked quizzed about his relation with Miss
Padukone yet again. This time the actor kept
it professional and only talked about her as
an actress and rmade a shocking revelation
that Deepika doesn't think highly of him as
an actor.
Padmaavat actor said, "It is a relationship of
mutual admiration. I would like to believe.
But actually it isn't. I think it's one way
admiration relation. I rate her highly of her
as an actress and she doesn't. She is like,
'You are just a ham. Get out of here'
But he didn't stop there, Ranveer also said
that he is blessed to have her in his life. He
said on stage,"She is awesome. There is a lot
to learn from her as an artist. There are a lot
of things I have learnt a lot from her, that I
am very thankful to her for. She is someone
I learnt from the craft of acting but also how
to be as a well rounded wholesome human
being. She is an amazing person and I am
blessed to have her in my life."
As Karan Johar's radio show is coming to
and end, in one of the segments called, the
'Reverse Rapid Fire' one of the callers
happened to ask him, which Bollywood
couple in his opinion, would break up if they
were in a long distance relationship. To this,
KJo replied saying, "I think Ranveer and
Deepika. They seem like they always need
each other.
Meanwhile, on the work front Ranveer is
currently busy shooting for Zoya Akhtar's
Gully Boy. He has Rohit Shetty's Simmbaa and
Kabir Khan's '83 in the pipeline. Deepika on
the other had, seems to have put her
upcoming projects on hold owing to her
back injury. The actress was to begin filming
for Vishal Bhardwaj's film on Sapna Didi
with Irrfan Khan. But even that film has been
put on hold duo to the health concerns of
both Irrfan and Deepika. Speculations are
rife that the actress may soon sign a film
with Rajkummar Rao, although nothing has
been confirmed on the same yet.
