YES. She says in IVs it was one of her biggest professional highs. I feel it's very undeserving though. She acted aooo well in Fiza & Zubeidaa, especially. She deserved it in those films.

I agree, she has had better performances in other films, DTPH had nothing worthy of National Awards.

Well, Sonam did not win a National Award for Neerja (a Malayali actress won Best Actress that year) she got a certificate, same as Parineeti Chopra got for Ishaqzaade a few years before.

^^Tell that to Sonam Kapoor. She keeps saying she "won at the National Awards" and things which indicate that she has won an actual trophy, not a certificate. Even Akshay Desh Bhakt Kumar has the same problem but he atleast can act well.

Don't know about Raja Hindustani but Karishma was the best thing in DTPH

I liked her more than Madhuri and her chemistry was better with SRK too IMO so good Ash didn't do that movie
