I heard the 2009 film London Dreams with Ajay/Salman was in its early stages and it was being made with Srk/Aamir in 2002 sometime 🤔 Just imagine

I know between DCH/Lagaan and Mangal Pandey he got divorced so that took time. Also his look for MP was long hair and he grew it out.

But look at this. DCH came August 2001 and Mangal Pandey August 2005. 4 years gap. But then RDB Jan 2006 & Fanaa May 2006. Thats 3 releases in less than 1 year. He made u for it ⭐️⭐️

Lagaan and DCH were 99 projects which came out in 2001

After those films he had signed an ABCL production and a Mansoor Khan film Happy Diwali (don't know if these two were same films, they were officially confirmed by Aamir).

Then the Oscar nomination happened which was followed by divorce. Entire 2002 was gone this way and Happy Diwali was shelved. There was a brief gap after which he signed Mangal Pandey and started preparing for it. RDB was locked later.

So, it might look like 4 years gap but he was busy mostly but for a brief period. It is the reason why three films came out back to back within a span of one year.

I have not read abt a shelved Mansoor Khan film...don't think that happened...ABCL one was Rishta with Madhuri and Indra Kumar...

acc to ROM it was in London in 2002 where he gave him narration of RDB ...it took them almost 2 years for screenplay writing...

It (whatever that movie) was supposed to be 03 Diwali release, but things went haywire in second half of 2002.

I remember Aamir's one film titled Lajjo with Mani Ratnam that got shelved...wish Shekar Kapoor and Mani had directed him...
