They will increase the number of shows since BB showed upward trend...

Bajrangi Bhaijaan Does Well On Day Two in China

Bajrangi Bhaijaan has did well on day two in China as it collected $3 million apprx which takes its two day total to $5.1 million apprx. The film must do $12 million to make it a worthwhile exercise and all costs are covered and this should happen and if Monday holds it will happen comfortably.

But a big total seems unlikely as the comparison below with Dangal shows. The opening day between the two films is pretty much the same with Dangal leading by a quarter million dollars but that gap shoots up to $2 million apprx on day two .

The growth is there for a good to decent run for Bajrangi Bhaijaan in China but its unlikely to repeat the huge success it had in India. The first two day comparisons between Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Dangal are as follows.

Day One

Dangal

Collection - $2,490,000

Screenings - 30,364

Footfalls - 549,939

Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Collection- $2,210,000

Screenings - 20,130

Footfalls - 459,554

Day Two

Dangal

Collections - $5,120,000

Screenings - 32,550

Footfalls - 1,088,299

Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Collections - $2,860,000

Screenings - 18,764

Footfalls - 570,727

Oh no. The growth was not as good as Dangal. It fell quite short.

its salman debut there n will probably cross pk there

and as per taran or eros its 3.11M for daytwo

It is indeed unfair bcoz Dangal had to face many odds when it released...Wanda Cinemas,the world's largest cinema chain owner had boycotted Dangal...so it didn't get the best of the theatres in China...this is not the case with BB...and Dangal clashed with Marvel's GOG and FF8 was going strong there...

Let me tell few things, BB has been facing VERY HIGH COMPETITION, there are 3 BIGGEST FILMS in CHINA Running in their 2nd Week... for example - Dangal, TZH & PK Running all together in india in 2nd Week & koi foreign film release ho, u think it will get SCREENS?

No, this has been the case with BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN, there are 3 Films (Which are HUGE BILLION CLUB BLOCKBUSTERS) running right now

1. Operation Red Sea

2. Detective Chinatown Vol 2

3. Monster Hunt 2

Which have taken MAXIMUM SCREENS, this wasn't the case with DANGAL / SS, as only 1 or 2 Hollywood competition was there, here we have LOCAL 3 CHINESE FILMS, means BAJRANGI is performing like way much more than it's capacity.

SHOWS 4th day ke INCREASE HO GAYE hai just coz WOM POSITIVE Hai, Also, now Salman films will get Release dates.

Maoyan is very Reputed Website... Salman with his debut is gonna hit 50+ M... wasn't expecting this much big success... Aisey hai Bhaiyya Bajrangi...

So it is all Set to be 3rd Biggest INDIAN Film in China, hope SULTAN Score much bigger than this.

Whoever has released BB in CHINA is super fool, right now it's jamm packed & They released film now. Hope next film should not have this much BIG COMPETITION, especially when you are new in area to perform.
