What is a Superstar Status? We have questioned this multiple times here, is it visible nowadays? Well I will not elaborate about it.

You all may have seen Sridevi's last journey on TV today, if not then watch it..

The massive respect, the love from people she got, yes This is called a Superstar Status. I have never seen this type of overflowing love from fans, respect for any other actors yet [Not disrespecting others]

Yes she is a Superstar...

I am more mad at Filmfare. What was the use of giving a mediocre performance award to Vidya? They did her wrong with passing out two of her most important years and then failed to give her any recognition for EV and now Mom.

But her Padma award is far greater than crappy filmfare. Not everyone gets the respect of tricolour flag while departing.

Her huge fan base came from her popularity in south regional films. She kept acting in Telugu movies, even when she was a superstar in Bollywood. Most actors/actresses turn to regional movies, only when they don't get offers in Bollywood. But she did not differentiate. I respect her for that.

Vidya has just always been lucky with awards. A tough act like Jhilmil 's by PC was lost to Vidya's much simpler Kahani act. Sri in Mom was 10,000 times a tougher role to play and deliver than Sulu's .

The Crowd today showed how little these awards matter. Making a place in the hearts of People is the real reward!

U are wrong. She has Major fans all across, not just South. Infact, after she entered Bollywood, she hardly did any South films. She ruled South in 1970s and Bollywood throughout 1980s n 1990s - that is entire generation. She was known as Lady Amitabh back then for being the Highest paid actress. She even stole the show in Khuda Gawah in a Bachchan film! Even her comeback film became a Superhit. We have actresses struggling at age of 30+ and here she is a 50 yrs actress delivering at the Boxoffice.
