Kangana Ranaut: For me failure was a matter of life and death.

Kangana Ranaut is definitely the Queen of
Bollywood. The actor has won National
Awards at a young age and has proven her
acting prowess in every film. She has taken
up a variety of characters and has done
justice to them all.
Kangana has been doing films with
renowned directors. Her last films, Simran
and Rangoon, however failed to click at the
box-office. Kangana, however was
immensely appreciated for her superlative
performances.
In a recent interaction with veteran actor
Naseeruddin Shah, Kangana talked about
experiencing failure and said, "Now people
say you are facing failure and how do you
feel? Nothing feels like failure felt back then,
because for me it was a matter of life and
death and there was no way back

Kangana had revealed in an interview that
failure of her last film, Simran has pushed
back many plans that she had, including her
directorial venture. After the failure of
Rangoon, she had said in an interview,
"Maybe when you are bigger and grow
more, both success and failure become
more of your responsibility. 'Rangoon' was
mounted on a humungous budget and
publicised around my character. When
something like that doesn't fare well, you do
feel like sh*t."
She had also said, "Because Simran didn't
work a lot for things changed for me,
unfortunately. So now I'm going to be
working in the capacity of an actor, after
the release of Simran.
Kangana is currently shooting for
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi in Bikaner.
