I'll also narrate my story :p

Once upon a time, there was an Angel-likeDevil who was google-searching for something related to Roadies, and chanced upon India-Forums and became a member...

At that time, Roadies forum comprised of barely 3-5 active members. I was also crazy about Dance India Dance, and found my first home board there... and then after a few months - Debate Mansion which I really loved! ..but alas, I was too young and dumb to post something sensible in comparison to those intelligent members(still am dumb). I was active on Indian Idol forum too in 2011.. and after a brief period of inactivity, in 2012, I found this forum.. again, so many witty, intelligent, smartasses here... and then had to leave IF until mid-2014... was active until end of 2014... then was inactive until 2016.. then became an irregular regular here..

I used to post on any forum I could back then! Even now I visit ghost boards here, but this place has become barren..

Back when I was new, this forum was full of life.. on any board! Some boards have been removed too..

I also sometimes go to the last pages of boards and go through them.. sometimes you can notice the stark contrast in the neurosis that is a commonality today.. Back then, there was something genuine, innocent and good-natured in the posts..

People who joined in 2004 were so lucky enough to have internet connection at the first place cause i am not mistaking it the very first nokia 3310 was launched on 2000-2002. i just realized that making calls and having internet was a big deal. in india. lol.

In 2005, we used to have a dial up connection back then. so, to start internet meant disconnecting the telephone line for some time. I could only use it for half an hour at the max😆

But I do remember making an account on Hi5 and Orkut. It was such a big deal at that time😛

2007 main to 10 kb/ps milta tha which was wisely used on Orkut.

Lmao.. It was such a headache enstablishing that connection. Yeah linkedin, myspace , hi5 and orkut i am sure many of us had registered on this site out of curiousity. 😆

I have been visiting this forum since 2007/2008.In those days Shahid Kapoor had the biggest fanbase here.Almost all the posts about him used to get at least 10 pages of reply.when it comes to actress Sonam(Who is a nobody now) was the star of this forum. She had rabid fanbase.I still remember this post about Ajay Devgan's Infidelity & Vidya's love with shahid crossing 100 pages. In those days there would be lots of members but it seems majority of them esp teen girls of that time have left this forums post marriage or due to work pressure

@ Pallavi...I was Qazi fan and my husband liked Ruprekha...we were a happy couple when both won FG😆😆

Hello! Been a member on here since June 2005. Those were the days...I used to watch hindi serials with my mom every night lol. Piya ka Ghar, Astitva, Kareena Kareena...we'd watch most of the shows on Zee TV and Sony. We didn't have Star Plus at the time (it was considered a luxury in my eyes). Ooo and there was a show called Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki... in the Sahara ONE forum, does that channel still exist?
As for BW, I remember there being SO many fanclubs for each celebrity. Shahid Kapur/Amrita Rao, PZ, Rani, Himesh Reshammiya soundtracks, Salman trying to revive his career are the topics that I relate to those years on I-F.

Not that active on here anymore. I just come and go.

LOL just read this after I posted that i hated Qazi 😆😆whooops! It was so wierd when the both of them won together, For the finale I was rooting for Rex and Rooprekha, always wanted to believe they had a thing
