The last login date of the first person to post in this forum is 2008. I just checked, there were only two-three members chatting amongst themselves. Imagine the same situation right now, the whole forum just for yourself and a friend. 😆

I joined this forum in 2004 Dec. I used to watch this serial called Jassi Jaisi Koi nahin. I had also moved out of India during that time so created my login to keep track of what was going on in the serial LOL.

Yep. Remix was a tv show that used to air on Star One. It starred Karan Wahi, Shweta Gulati, Priya Wal and Raj Singh Arora. It was a college based show and it became like a cult in those days. My school friends and I used to be crazy about it coz the lingo was so funky and clothes were amazing. It was an Indian version of Rebeldo and these 4 made a band together. Aasma band (which included Neeti Mohan), used to compose songs for that show😳

Its so sad that Star One, the only channel with youth based shows, got shut down. Instead we got Life Ok and Star Bharat with more stupid saas bahu shows😡

Zee Zindagi brought some Turkish and Korean shows, but even that channel got shut down.

Now TV is full of annoying Ekta/Gul shows🥱. Thankfully I have Netflix😆

EDIT: Does anyone remember Amit Sadh's Kyun Hota Hai Pyaar?

Yeah, I knew you were a Qazi fan since you were so happy when he appeared in the Afghan Jalebi video 😆

I was so mad when Qazi won, he was good-looking but sang so besura ...

Rooprekha had sweet and melodious voice, but the amount of fake drama they did abt Rooprekha and Rex so-called romance was so cringeworthy and ridiculous 😆

Orkut was only by invitation, at that time. And the testimonials and wall scraps were so funny at that time😆

I was on Yahoo chat group for Ekta serials before I came to IF in 2004-2005 😆

and I was on Orkut too but not that active there

I had watched many episodes of Remix, it was a fun, youthful, refreshing show

Also watched some episodes of Dil Mil Gaye ...Star One had a really good lineup of youthful shows, now this Star Bharat has such regressive crap! TV content is going backwards

I joined in 2005. Was pretty active and then disappeared for a while and resurfaced maybe 1-2 years ago LOL. The forum used to be a blast, though I was never a part of the BW forum back then. I wish I was though, some of the films you listed were some of my faves and I would have loved to discuss them. The actors back then were also better and seemed to be less "politcally correct" all the time- giving imflammatory statements, would have been fun to discuss those too.

"spamming" and "chatting" was not a big deal back then so people got to talking alot and members became good friends. Now a days u see so much nasty shit with people secretly reading other's posts and then remember then to use as ammo later on kinda has ruined the feel of the entire forum. And def more attacking if views don't match. Didn't seem as rampant back in 05.

What no way!!!! I made most of my IF friends on the fame gurukul forum!!! That forum was known for spamming 😆
