Too sad, the main person creating the movie didnt think of poor Aish, despite being her close friend... you are free to cast her when you make your own Padmavati...

Array bhai even the paid reviewers who gave this money good ratings said that DP doesn't have much of a role beyond her looking "pretty". 🥱

You need to add a disclaimer citing whose fan you are when you post anything related to Padmavat so we can add peeps to the list of those who are jealous of this epic masterpiece and classic

Full disclosure: I am a Shahid fan. I haven't seen the film but since there was so much drama before release I am frankly happy just that the film isn't a disaster.

Having said that - and unrelated to any specific film - I understand the "rules " but think it's kind of ridiculous the way hits and flops are assessed and how much emphasis is put on these tags especially since the actual numbers for what the distributors pay and what the collections are in the Hindi film industry is so murky. There is no source - including BOI - which isn't 1. At least partly guessing and 2. Biased.

By this account many movies of other actors would become super hits too😆. How can distributor share change the status of film from flop to hit? It can only shift the losses towards the producer. The movie has to recover the production costs. That's the rule followed for all manufactured products too. A Rs 200 Cr film is tough for even super stars to become hit, forget super hit or blockbuster. Padmavat has to make Rs 300 Cr to become a hit. Can it?

Shahid fans have already been deemed as the insecure lot since no one is talking about their fav so you are already in the list

There is no specific rule for giving movie verdicts. Every other trade site gives a different verdict for their movies.

Even the so-called authentic site BOI doesn't makes sense in terms of budget estimates and movie verdicts.
Tubelight is just a below average, not a Flop. JHMS is just a Flop, not a Disaster. SS budget is 45 Crores, Kaabil budget is 89 Crores, despite being low budget movies. Ra. One is a Clean Hit despite not recovering it's budget.

They give their own imaginary budget, and the verdicts change according to the star of the film. All these trade sites including BOI look like puppets of BW people.

😆 It's not the budget but the distributor price which decides the verdict of the movie.

Padmaavat by all means is on its way to become a SH at domestic and ATBB at overseas. 🥳
