Remember how we used to get SMS alerts in India during the R-Day week asking us to stay alert and avoid going to malls or public places in case there's any terrorist activity till a few years ago? Who would've thought we would again have to stay alert and safe while watching a freaking movie due to these 'homegrown terrorists'!!

My blood boils looking at the scene in a mall next door. So many security guards and policemen guarding the place like the PM is going to visit the mall. Imagine putting all of this man force to better use to help provide better security to women at night.

Our country will go down in history as the country with the most misplaced priorities!!

This was the same school bus which was attacked where my sister who is a teacher works. She was travelling in another bus when she found this out. The bus had to go all around into the rural areas and all to navigate through the commotion before they could reach Gurgaon properly. Somehow she managed to reach home safely and added that all the school kids were safe.Cant believe such things are happening all for a movie where serious issues are just swept under the rug. Appalling and disgusting to say the least. Fervently hope that some serious action is taken. She added that the State police n bsf troops have been called for controlling the mob😒

Why are they so silent when own kids are attacked? (Scale may be less. But if we don't control, it will grow).

It is not about a movie anymore. Movie will collect, whatever it has to. But it is more to do with how government reacts to violent protestors, who are targeting the most vulnerable of the society.

As a society, we can't choose to remain silent now. Modi or Rahul Gandhi, they should speak up now and condemn it with strong words. BJP regional governments need to grow spine while dealing with caste based rioters (be it Dalit, Jat, Rajputs or whatever). They have failed miserably in the last year.

Karni Sena is not even a full fledged organisation. Their agitation is nothing compared to the ones India faced during 90s (Mandal, Ram Janmabhumi etc). If government can't even contain these small hooligans, how will they deal with such big agitations?

Our PM, who has something to say on everything under the Sun has put on a maun vrat for this whole fiasco! His silence is completely appalling. And what is more disgusting is that not one single political party is saying anything against the Karni Sena!

Honestly, these are time, when I feel so, so ashamed to be an Indian.

How can this fringe group take the entire country on gunpoint? Why isn't anyone doing anything about it? Its not about a movie, its about the constitutional right to express our views. A film is also a viewpoint of an individual...and while people can certainly protest over it, no one can indulge in free for all violence in the way Karni Sena is doing.
