It's okay to prefer or be sexually/romantically attracted to a certain race however it's not okay put down another for their looks and it's especially appalling when you're putting down your own people. 🤔

As for the thread question, itself, it's a valid one. I don't think it has to do with the lack of hot Indian men in general. It has to do with the filmmakers not keeping Indian women in mind while thinking of their core audience. At least, that is the way it has been. Thankfully, more movies that deviate from this thought process are being made now. Ever think why all the background dancers started magically turning into white women since the mid-2000s? It's because that's what the front benchers demand. Same way, the actresses had to be drop dead gorgeous compared to the men because they want the male audience to escape into a world where average looking men can also land beauties. That's why you saw fat Govinda romancing every single pretty actress of the 90s, even the pageant queens like Sush and Aish.
