Unlike Vikram Bhatt and Randeep Hooda who'd moved in with her, Manav Menon has a life beyond Sushmita and she has been struggling to accept that 'distance' in their relationship.
Also unlike her previous boyfriends, he is not from the industry and his work commitments involves travelling, where she cannot accompany him. Add to the fact, that he's also in touch with his wife and daughter in Delhi.
Incidentally, Sushmita met ad filmmaker Manav during the making of the Kiah jewellery ad, which he directed. Five months ago, Manav accompanied Sush to Paris for a Tag Heuer gala where Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan were also present. Both actors endorse the brand.

The problems in her new relationship are apparently pushing her in the direction of her ex, Randeep. Every time Sush breaks off with the new man in her life, she takes Randeep back into her heart.
According to an industry source, "Sush is once again turning to Randeep, which could mean that all is not well between her and Manav. Initally, she'd cut off all ties with Randeep.
She'd already started seeing Manav while she was still involved with Randeep but she chose to tell him over phone from US where she'd gone for shows and she'd asked him to move out.
Sushmita suggested staying friends but Randeep declined the offer and she retaliated by not allowing him access to her daughter Renee who he adores, and who calls him "Papa."
The truce began after Randeep's return from Bangkok where he picked up toys and clothes for Renee and took them home for her.
After that, Sush and Renee visited Hooda on his birthday. Also last month, Sushmita invited him over on her birthday. This has triggered off speculation that if all is well between Manav and Sush, why is Randeep back in the picture?
No time for love
When asked about the status of his relationship with Sen, Randeep says, "It's none of the world's business what my relationship with Sush is. We are friends and that's about it. There is no need for anybody to know anything else."
He adds, "I am not romancing anyone at the moment. I have neither the time nor the inclination. My professional life is moving at a pace where I can't give that time. I have some great women friends but no one special. It's my personal choice not to be in a relationship today." |
