this one for sure doesnot fall in any of those stereotypes BW actresses doing action fall under..

she is not breaking into random action just for the sake of it

she moves the story forward..she is 1/2 of the plan executed ..the other 1/2 half is tiger..it cannot get better for an actress in a salman action movie for sure..

LOL I saw it last night...she is not even a patch on what KANGANA did in Krissh 3 or Priyanka Chopra did in DRONA... you can give full movie to Katrina and she'll tumble. the simple reason is she's neither a performer, nor an actor...u can be a huge fan of hers and sing epic songs in her praise which hardly makes any difference but this is certainly aint gonna establish her anything. its clearly a BHAI show by all means

even, I just want to see what sort of epic oscar nominations she gets for her action performance 😆 🤣

While they are not thespians like Daniel Day or Rajkumar Rao . Their 100 x more loved and famous ⭐️

Mast movie, Sallu was at his best and Kat was badass.
Paresh Rawal and Kumud Mishra were the comic reliefs.
That villain dude was cool.
Overall a good watch if you like action flicks. And to enjoy this movie, please don't try to find intellectual logic as this movie is purely about the super agent Tiger and his superspy wife Zoya.
Action was pura Hollywood wala, and have to appreciate the technique used for the action scenes.
Also Katrina is looking effing hwat in big screen during Swag she swagat(the last song).
Also side note but really liked how they adopted Hasan.

Completely agree with intellectual logic. I think all kinds of films can co-exist. And 'purely for entertainment only' masala films with basic good story line are equally needed. Also agree with side note. Loved the fact they adopted Hasan.

My brother also watched (his first BW film in a theatre!), he says it's Die Hard on steroids!!! He LOVED it more than I did and when I told him Katrina is now single, he is ready to pack his bags and catch a flight for India!!!! LOL!!!!

Tiger Zinda Hai has simply annihilated the box office on Sunday. Its about the masses where despite lower collections than last years Dangal at high end multiplexes it has gone far past the Sunday number of that film. There is not much to say as the numbers say it all. The figures are still coming in but looking at the early numbers from key areas like Punjab, UP and Gujarat its looking a 44 crore nett plus Sunday. This is taking the weekend of the film to around 114 crore nett easily surpassing the 105.50 crore nett record of Sultan. The weekend daily figures looks as follows.

Friday - 34,00,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 35,50,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 44,50,00,000 (early estimate)

Grand Total - 1,14,00,00,000 apprx

The Sunday numbers show that the audience will still turn up in hordes for good cinema but sadly a major section of this industry thinks the likes of Newton and Neerja is good cinema which is laughable and shows the disconnect with the paying audience but that is a topic for another day.
