But...why the makers fight it out in rajasthan? It's waste of time and resources IMO. They won't comply with any court orders and karnisena is no more a fringe there. Also not a good idea to coordinate a screening cos even the jury there may be a vested interest.

They have to take measures to lift the ban from gujarat. It is reported that few other states too mulling over the option of ban. At any cost the makers shouldn't let it happen. Tackling political pressures from various quarters and ensuring a good release must be their top most priority.

The movie as such has good buzz, no need for any promotions at all. Who knows what will aggravate the aggressors? Actually now that the major concerns were addressed, what the royal and historians are strongly objecting to.

I had said earlier that I respect art. As far as #Padmavat is concerned, Himachal govt doesn't intend to ban it in the state. If there's nothing controversial in it, we have no objection in releasing it here. I want the film to be screened in theaters: Jai Ram Thakur, Himachal CM

Well with screen bookings on and international chains confirming I am sure it will release on 25Th jan you wont get another perfect window like this again.

Raja sen said that in terms of Karni sena winning..
