I am so glad I got to watch this movie on the big screen. It is spectacular.

Just watched a bit of Ranveer's interview (with Faridoon)...he is such a sweetheart! He mentioned how they had to retake the scene in which Raza Murad slaps him - 24 times retake kiya.

Poor guy 😆

Wow! This was one of the powerful scenes of the film where Shahid got to shine!

Look at the sensibilities of those times...All Khilji said was ' are you not going to introduce family to me?'...Ratan says (showing his ministers)- 'this IS my family'...Then Khilji says ' what about Rani Padmavati'...That's it all the 10 people in the room draw their swords and get ready to kill Khilji...😲😆

Yes! The rage on Ratan's face...Shahid portrayed it so well.

Also when he is in prison and that pandit is taunting him, playing his flute - Shahid shone in that scene - the sheer look of distress, the way he gives that chuckle and tells him "bajao, raag yaman"

And when he adamantly decides to meet Khilji in his courtroom...And that duel between him and Khilji...He totally dominated these scenes...

In short, where ever the director gave some substance to his role, he delivered and where his role was ignored, there too he brought in his A game...
