Mumbai met Modena as Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor met Massimo Bottura last night at Cond Nast Traveller's Hot Tables co-hosted by NIRAV MODI at Four Seasons, Mumbai. A known food enthusiast, Sonam has followed Massimo's career for years now and when Cond Nast Traveller invited her to be a part of Massimo's first ever culinary outing in India, she instantly confirmed her presence.

Massimo Bottura's three-Michelin-starred restaurant Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy was ranked #1 on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list 2016, becoming the first Italian restaurant in history to win this accolade. At the one-night-only exclusive dinner, Sonam was seen low-key, fangirling over the renowned Italian chef, taking Instagram stories and images and videos for keepsakes. Aware of her love for Massimo, CNT took Sonam into the kitchen where she sampled one of Massimo's India-inspired creationsa pani puri dessert. The actor even got her copy of Massimo's book signed by the top chef.
