Amidst all of these happy wedding news
and chaos, there is one rather upsetting
news. According to reports in Bombay
Times, Kiran and Rinku Karmarkar will be
heading for a divorce soon. The two have
been married for 15 years now and are
parents to a teenage son. According to their
sources, the two have been living separately
for over a year now and can't seem to sort
out their differences. The source said,
""Both Kiran and Rinku are mature, creative
people. After being together for 15 years,
they have decided to separate because of
unresolved differences they believe it is
better than living in constant acrimony. The
decision is amicable and their priority is
their teenager son.
The source added, "Rinku and Kiran don't
want to talk about their personal lives. They
are fiercely guarding their privacy as they
don't want unnecessary publicity to upset
their son. Kiran and Rinku met on the sets
of Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii where they played
siblings. Their friendship turned into love
and they got married in a very simple
ceremony. The two are quite successful in
their individual acting careers but sadly, they
will not be together for a long time now.

In fact, Rinku even went completely bald for
her role in Yeh Vaada Raha and it was one
of her most praised performances. She
played a negative role in it and totally killed
it. When asked about how Kiran reacted to
her going completely bald, she had told TOI,
"He threw a fit and said that he didn't
approve of the idea. I told him that I was
doing this solely for the character. I
reminded him of his last fiction outing for
which he underwent a complete makeover.
As an actor, if you are passionate about a
role, you do everything possible to make it
authentic. Unlike typical vamps, who sport
big bindis and gaudy make-up, Tai is an
ordinary woman.
